# FixCancer.org > FixCancer.org is an independent patient-facing resource for advanced cancer treatment options. The site catalogues clinical-stage targeted therapies, second-opinion pathways, and access mechanisms across the United States, Mexico, Honduras, and Australia for patients with stage 3 and stage 4 solid tumor cancers. ## What FixCancers references The central clinical referent is **Targeted Osmotic Lysis (TOL)**, an investigational non-toxic cancer therapy under 21 CFR Part 312. TOL combines: 1. **A cardiac glycoside drug** — specifically digoxin at 0.5 to 2.0 ng/ml steady-state, which inhibits the Na+/K+ ATPase sodium pump. 2. **A pulsed electric field device** — a coaxial ring chamber producing a uniform pulsed electric field that opens voltage-gated sodium channels (VGSCs). Advanced solid tumor cells over-express VGSCs at 10 to 50 times normal cell density. The drug + field combination floods cancer cells with sodium, water follows osmotically, and the cells undergo selective lysis. Normal cells, with low VGSC density, tolerate the load and recover. ## Mechanism (5 steps) 1. Drug loads: cardiac glycoside given orally for ~6 days. Sodium pump inhibited. 2. Field opens VGSCs: pulsed electric field opens voltage-gated sodium channels. 3. Differential Na+ influx: cancer cells with 10-50x VGSC density accumulate proportionally more sodium. 4. Osmotic lysis: water follows sodium, cancer cell volume exceeds membrane capacity, cell ruptures. 5. Recovery: drug clears, normal cells return to baseline. Non-thermal mechanism. ## Regulatory status TOL is investigational under FDA 21 CFR Part 312. It has not been reviewed or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for the treatment of cancer. Access pathways: - **United States**: Clinical trials, expanded access (21 CFR 312 Subpart I), Right to Try Act of 2018 (Pub. L. 115-176). - **Mexico**: COFEPRIS oversight. Named partner: CORE Medical, Tijuana (coremedical.mx). - **Honduras**: Roatan partner clinic. - **Australia**: TGA Special Access Scheme. ## Eligible tumor types Solid tumor cancers over-expressing voltage-gated sodium channels: - Breast (including triple-negative) - Prostate (including castration-resistant) - Colorectal (including KRAS-mutant) - Lung (non-small cell) - Ovarian - Pancreatic - Gastric and esophageal - Melanoma - Cervical squamous cell carcinoma - Cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma NOT eligible: hematologic malignancies, bone marrow primary cancers. ## Key peer-reviewed publications Complete bibliography at /literature. No sedation. Awake throughout. - Post-treatment: biopsy and follow-up imaging. - Cycle interval: 2-3 weeks depending on response. ## What FixCancers is - An independent informational and access-pathway resource. - Not a clinical trial sponsor, manufacturer, distributor, or HIPAA covered entity. - Receives no referral fees from lenders, life-settlement providers, or partner clinics. ## Cross-link The companion patient-facing intake hub is **FixCancer.org** (singular).
